Seeing a moderate amount of beetles here. Not as bad as a couple years ago, but significant, maybe a half dozen per vine.
After having lost a lot to birds and bees last year (and dealing with the beetles) I've decided to throw on some fine mesh coverings (image attached.) Sprayed Sevin to kill what's there now and put them on this morning. We'll see if I closed it tight enough...
