Our Holiday Party is shaping up to be a lot of fun as we will have music, drawings, equipment swaps, a label contest, and more.
Let’s start with a social at 5:30 PM. If you can’t get there by then, we’ll wait for you. Per usual, bring a glass and a bottle to share, but for this time only, no commercial wines (per rules of our rental agreement.)
Potluck will follow the social. There are plenty of electrical hook ups for your delectable crock pot dishes and creative casseroles, plus we have some sterno and holders left over from a picnic for things you want to serve heated. The club will furnish plates, utensils, etc.
Music will be provided by our very own Terry Monroe. He will do some good old sing-along and dance tunes for us.
We’ll have a label contest to recognize the many artistic labels that spring from our group. Bring along your labels to the party and look for Mary Petrie when you arrive. If you have already put them on your bottles and don’t have a loose one, bring along the bottle and we’ll judge it from there.
There will be a swap table for wine making equipment. Maybe you have something that you no longer need. Let’s get it into the hands of someone that can use it.
Lastly, if you could bring a bottle or two for our Cornerstone landlords, that would be wonderful. We have a good arrangement with them and want to stay on their good side.
Thanks,
Rod Kaz.
